I have a lot of follow-up checkups to make sure this kidney takes to my body. There really shouldn’t be any problems, they just want to be thorough and be 1000% sure that I’m okay. I appreciate a job well done by my doctors! Maybe Mr. Simpson will even let me come back and visit the school. I already miss it a little, but I’m sure Katie Matlin will do a great job. That girl is going places.
I really miss him. We’ve been seeing each other sporadically throughout the summer and we both got our schedules in the mail today. We’re in a few of the same classes. I really can’t wait for Yale, but I’m going to miss so many people back at home. Can I take you all with me?

I’ve convinced my mom to let me out of the house for the first time in awhile. I’m still a little fragile, but my recovery is going amazingly well. The first thing I did with my newfound freedom was meeting Dawn at the Dot. She’s recovering well too, I might add.
I might not agree with all of her choices that she made throughout her life, but I understand why she does the things that she does and I see a lot of myself in her. I even see little bits and pieces of my attributes in my half-siblings. it’s been really interesting to connect with all of them. By meeting her, I learned more about myself. Where my red hair comes from, a better understanding of my own drive and ambition, and most importantly, I’m thankful that she helped me dodge the curse of the Sinclair Schnoz by birthing me.
She saved my life.
I just got done with my first week back to school and my mind hasn’t really been in Holly J-mode. But anyway, here I am. :)
I hear about the situation from Fiona. I hope everything’s better now.
